




Sit the loaded iron on the card at one end of the page and glide it gently to the other end.
Dab the iron flat onto the card. Lift off and repeat.
Hold the card while dabbing the iron onto the page. Try to avoid touching the iron’s edge on the wax. The edges create the sharp outlines seen in the previous step.
Touch the iron’s edge on the wax to create straight lines.
Draw in the wax using the edge of the iron at the curved section.
Melt some wax onto the tip of the iron. Hold the iron like a pen and draw details onto your painting.
Scratch into the wax using the scribing tool to reveal the white card underneath.
